Defect Investigation

Defects arise in buildings and their cause is not always readily apparent to the untrained eye.

If such defects are ignored, they can result in serious damage to the structure, fabric and services of a building. This can prove to be expensive for the building owner or tenant.

At Anglia Building Surveys, our Chartered Building Surveyors have been trained to investigate and analyse defects in buildings. This training, allied with their extensive experience obtained through day-to day surveying of all types of building, enables them to identify the cause of most building defects and advise the best means of rectifying them. If it is not possible to identify the cause of the problem, then advice will be given regarding the type and extent of further investigation that is necessary to do this.
